The computer club set up by volunteers with help from the Neighbourhood Enablers has been a huge success on the Tilling Green estate since it started in 2012.

Tilling Green Computer Club is open to all ages. It is a place to learn or improve computer skills in a fun environment for as little as £3 a week.

The club is  closed now for a summer break and will reopen again from 2pm until 3:30pm on September 11. If you need any help with your computer problems you can always pop into the Rye Internet Café at the Queen Adelaide Brasserie in Ferry Road, Rye, from Tuesday to Saturday – 10am until late.

The club holds its sessions, when open, on Thursdays at the Tilling Green Community Centre. It is run by Jean Christophe (also known as Bob) who also runs the internet café.

Other local projects nurtured through the enablers range from a poster competition against litter, through to a quilting group, the Camera 1066 photography club, a youth club for WinchelseaBeach and a heritage group at RyeHarbour.
