The generous residents of Winchelsea will be opening 10 secret gardens on Monday June 23 to help to raise funds for local charity Activities, Respite, Rehabilitation, Care Centres (ARRCC). Chief Executive Grace O’Neill said how delighted they are to be holding this fund-raising event. ARCC staff and volunteers are “cooking up a storm”, baking lots of cakes to tempt the visitors to the gardens. As well as delicious cakes there will be tea and coffee on sale in the New Hall and there will also be some interesting local craft stalls. All are welcome to come along and support ARRCC. The gardens are open between 2pm and 5.30pm and a ticket allowing access to all ten gardens costs just £5. Further details can be found at the website: www.arrcc.org.uk.
