New player hits a winner

Following a first game loss to Sidley Utd and a goalless draw on Saturday September 15 versus Robertsbridge, things are starting to look up for Town FC.

On Saturday September 22 Rye Town travelled to the Polegrove to play Bexhill Town as the current holders of ESFL Premier Travel Chauffeurs Challenge Cup.  Sporting the  striking new blue ‘away’ strip sponsored by Andi Rivett and Rebekah Gilbert of Rock Channel Marine, Town once again found their form and progressed to the next round with a winning goal from the new transfer from Sidley Utd Andy Garman, who was also Rye Heating’s Man of The Match.

Whilst Rother District Council “wait and see how well the ground recovers” at The Salts. Rye Town will be playing their home games at Rye Rugby Club from Saturday September 29.  Town would like to thank the Rugby Club for welcoming the football club and it is very much appreciated.  This weekend Rye Town will host their first game at Rye Rugby Club against local rivals Northiam 75 I. They would love Rye Locals to come along and support the team.  The game will be sponsored by SD Business Solutions.
