Winchelsea Literary Society is pleased to announce that on Friday March 24 in St Thomas’ church, there will be an evening with Charles Moore, now Lord Moore of Etchingham. All are welcome.
As the author of a three-volume biography of Margaret Thatcher, Charles Moore kept his promise to her that nothing should be published in her lifetime. He was editor of the Daily Telegraph, The Sunday Telegraph and the Spectator. He still writes weekly columns for the Daily Telegraph and Spectator on various matters including society, politics and ethics. We do not yet know the subject of the evening’s talk but we are sure it will be thought-provoking.
