The Rye International Jazz and Blues Festival is thrilled to announce that the multi award-winning singer songwriter Emeli Sandé is to headline the festival’s anniversary finale concert with an incredibly special and intimate evening solo show on Monday, August 29.
What a wonderful privilege it is to be able to present Emeli at the stunning and unique setting of St Mary’s Church, Rye.
Expect to hear her hits including Next to Me, Read All About It, My Kind of Love, and songs from her new album. Her first release on an independent label, Let’s Say For Instance marks a new era of Emeli’s expansive artistry after a decade on stage and on the airwaves.
Emeli Sandé is one of Britain’s most successful living songwriters. Her debut album Our Version of Events, which has sold over 5.4 million copies to date, was the biggest selling album in the UK of 2012 and the second biggest selling of 2013 and is certified platinum eight times in the UK and Ireland.
With a limited capacity, the concert promises to be a truly incredible and unforgettable experience.
