All children and students from Year R to Year 9 are invited to join a free singing club taking place each Monday, after school, at the Rye Creative Centre.

The club is free because it has sponsorship from the Fairlight Arts Trust, and is run on behalf of The Music Well, the Rye-based charity who are committed to the importance of music for the well-being of everyone. The club teacher is Marian Ham, a semi-retired head teacher and part-time singing and piano teacher.

The Children’s Singing Club is fully-inclusive and therefore open to any child or student who enjoys singing and would like to join. The club has performed at various local venues and has some exciting opportunities to sing in the community throughout 2023.

The club performs a wide variety of songs each week, with plenty of opportunities for children to sing solos or in harmony. The most important aspect is that everyone enjoys singing together.
