Rye News reported that Jason Michael was planning to create another pop-up art gallery in St Mary’s Centre, Lion Street. The exhibition was over three days from Friday, November  18. The room is light and spacious and with the door open (with Covid security in mind) an excellent space to mount this interesting show of diverse artists.

A surprise were the two totally different pictures from Fred Cuming RA, ‘The Standing Man’ (etching) and the contrasting ‘Spanish Beach’ (oil on canvas). Both beautiful in their contrasting media.

Jason Michael runs an online gallery which is worth looking at. A few examples of his varied artwork for sale, including pottery is below. To find out more go to www.jasonmichael.art or email: jason@jasonmichael.art.

  1. This is the 2nd pop-up exhibition Jason Michael has set up at St. Mary’s Centre that I have had the pleasure of viewing. There was something for everyone and a range of prices to suit most pockets. Still tempted by a couple of pieces saw there, and now that Christmas is coming … … …

    • Always love the mixture of artists Jason Michael selects. He has a great eye and helps introduce me to the work of people I would not normally discover. Delighted he puts on these pop-ups in Rye.
