The galleries of Rye have collaborated to set up an exciting new Art Trail. The trail aims to benefit Rye’s ever evolving status as a flourishing arts hub. Set up a bit like a passport, where participants collect a stamp at each venue, and a free gift at the end, the trail is a fun activity for all ages.

The Trail visits the following venues:

  • Ethel Loves Me
  • Just Ten Gallery
  • Red Door Alchemist Gallery
  • Roche Gallery
  • Rye Art Gallery
  • Shepherd Hut Studios

Tina Kaul, owner of Red Door, who has project-managed the venture, says: “It’s really wonderful to collaborate on this with the other galleries in town. Each venue offers something completely different and it will be super to welcome new faces through all our doors. The idea has been received really positively too by the local hotels and tourist venues who are keen to support the venture.”

Downloadable trail passports can be found at RyeArtTrail.co.uk or you can pick up your free printed version at any of the participating venues.

  1. What a great idea. I think the map needs adjusting, as the galleries are shown further south than they are. Also would you think of adding the rock channel art gallery? Good luck! Lenka Medlik
