Santa Satnav to aid delivery

Rye Conservation Society’s Christmas card serves an important two-part role. First, it is a seasonal greeting from the society that has been delivered to its members and supporters in these troubled times, offering an iconic rooftop view of Rye from a linocut by talented committee member Mike Stott.

Secondly, it is one of a series, created by Mike after he was taken up in Santa’s drone (reindeer sleigh) to ensure that everyone’s favourite white-bearded gentleman is able to navigate Rudolph and his team through the medieval maze of rooftops on Christmas Eve in order to deliver presents to the children in the centre and surrounding area of Rye.

With the residents of Rye in lockdown, it is essential that Father Christmas doesn’t accidentally get lost in the citadel, and Stott’s Santa’s Satnav is just the ticket!
