A new small art gallery, Art & Soul, at 29A High Street, was launched on Friday, November 10. It is described by resident artist and founder Emma Miller as a boutique gallery and features her own work plus a diverse selection of contemporary pieces from talented artists. Emma lives in Willington, Greater London and decided the shop would lend itself perfectly as a Gallery/open Studio from which she can work as a designer, photographer and fine artist as well as make an interesting addition to the town.
She told me: “I believe that art gives us the power to express truth beyond logic, the freedom to celebrate the beauty and the strength of the human spirit and opportunity to enjoy the beautiful world around us. I believe art should be fairly valued and accessible to all.
