The Fay Hield Trio

We are delighted that the Fay Hield Trio is able to come to Rye this year as, owing to a tragedy, they had to cancel last year. Fay has one of the finest voices of her generation and is supported by Sam Sweeney (ex Bellowhead) on fiddle and Rob Harbron, heralded by The Guardian as a concertina Wizard. Her first two solo albums, Looking Glass and Orfeo, were released on the prestigious Topic Records folk label. Her choice of material and delivery reflect a rare sensibility and appreciation of the tradition and is highly distinctive.
