Celebrating spring

From blackthorn blossom, to squawking gulls and lapwing filling the air with song, the nature reserve is bursting with glimmers of spring.

Rye Harbour Nature Reserve would like you to help showcase this special time of year, by submitting your photographs of what spring means to you. It might be an image of a bird, a flower, an insect, a particular landscape or something symbolic of new beginnings – the only rule is that your photo must be taken on the nature reserve.

Just a few things to consider:

  • The competition will close on Wednesday, April 30.
  • Only one entry per person. If you enter more than once, your first entry will be used.
  • Submit your photo in landscape orientation, as these are a better format for the Facebook banner.
  • Only submit your own work.
  • In case of a draw, we will decide the winner.
