With local tourism increasing, shops and restaurants cautiously reopening, and with more people on the job market after furlough ends, Rye News is seeing from our visitor statistics that we have a rising number of job seekers looking at our Jobs Page.
The jobs page is a free resource for local businesses, aimed at connecting employers with those seeking work. If you are a local employer and would like to advertise your job vacancies free of charge in Rye News, all you need to do is click on Submit a Job from the top menu and add your job details, start and end date and upload any accompanying documents such as logo and job description, if required. Once submitted, your advert will be approved and published.
There are currently a number of job vacancies being advertised on local recruitment sites and we ask that employers also use the jobs service in Rye News. We are not involved in the recruitment process – we simply provide a way to connect local people with local jobs.
Let us hear your experiences of recruiting or applying for jobs
If any of our readers are seeking work and would like to write an article for Rye News about your experiences we’d like to hear from you and for you to share your experiences with us.
If local employers have any advice for those seeking work, please share also your thoughts on Rye News.
