Fondly known as EMMAs, there are annual awards presented by the Forum for Expatriate Management to celebrate success, best practices, and outstanding contributions to global mobility.
Bournes announced: “We did it! We are thrilled to announce that Bournes has been awarded Best Global Mobility Sustainability Initiative of the Year at the prestigious EMMA Awards hosted by the Forum for Expatriate Management (FEM) on November 1.
“The award recognises the global mobility in-house corporate team or service provider that has demonstrated outstanding levels of resourcefulness and care in terms of sustainability. Whilst we are in the early stages of our sustainability journey, we are proud to be recognised by the FEM for our commitment and holistic approach to sustainability, embedding the UN Sustainable Development Goals at the heart of our strategy. We have achieved notable milestones in the last twelve months including our recent EcoVadis ‘silver’ rating and focus on social responsibility, employee well-being and quality education.
“We are honoured to receive this recognition from FEM and our peers in the global mobility community as it reflects our dedication to providing sustainable solutions for our clients, partners and employees and our commitment to protecting our world for future generations. Bournes was also shortlisted for International Moving Company of the Year 2023 and although they were not the ultimate winners their entry was highly commended by the judges.

It is not possible to get better than Bournes….they have moved and also stored for both myself and my parents on several occasions , once when in a particularly stressful move, they were able to provide help almost immediately …..they go way beyond the call of duty, the office team courteous, helpful and supportive, the removals and storage team highly efficient and also provide much laughter.
