Rye Cricket Club are delighted to announce a double celebration, thanks to the generosity of two local businesses, Diamond Koz and Skinners of Rye.
Diamond Koz have supported the cricket club for 12 months with sponsorship of the cricket pavilion and now that sponsorship package has been increased to provide support for the club’s training kit. Diamond Koz have also been busy in town and, having successfully established their Turkish restaurant in Rye, they have recently expanded their operation to incorporate the Strand Fish and Chip Shop.
Rye Cricket Club would also like to thank Skinners of Rye for their generous support for the cricket club with a two-year shirt sponsorship deal.
Pictured above are Skinners managing director, Gary Barlow and Rye Cricket Club lead on sponsorship, Grahame Burton.
The shirts will be worn by members of all three of Rye’s Saturday teams, as they commence the league season on Saturday, May 11.
The local business community are key supporters of cricket in the town and these sponsorships will be used to support the running of the club, ensuring one of the world’s oldest cricket clubs can continue to flourish.
