“We would just like to say a big, big THANK YOU to all of you for getting behind us and helping us fund-raise. We know there are still things on-going but these funds are still important to us as we’re self-funding we will need in the future to pay for servicing etc.
“The whole community got behind this fund-raising extravaganza and it is because of the exposure on social media and in Rye News that the message spread far and wide: we can’t thank you all enough.
“Every step of the way I was helped by so many people from all walks of life, especially my friend Sheila who went out of her comfort zone on so many occasions and did crazy things to raise more funds. She was my rock.”
