The Dementia Action Alliance is holding its second Annual General Meeting since its launch in Rye and District in October 2014. It will be an opportunity to assess how far the group has been able to come in its objectives of raising awareness amongst retailers, service providers and  the public generally, so that consideration and respect for people with dementia is afforded at the same level as, for example, is already happening for those with problems of mobility and sight impairment.

The meeting takes place on April 12 at the Tilling Green Community Centre at 6:30 for 7pm and will be followed by a Dementia Awareness Talk. Refreshments will be provided and all are welcome.
