You are invited to make tracks to a massive model railway show in Rye on Saturday, April 11 (the Easter weekend) which will feature around 20 model railway layouts, along with a number of trade stands, with the layouts on show in a variety of scales from tiny N gauge to O gauge.

Ambleton Vale

With a strong railway heritage in Rye, this is bound to be a popular event and is a great opportunity for people to enjoy nostalgia in miniature, and for others to learn about a potential pastime or simply appreciate the care taken to create a model railway.

The show’s being supported by clubs and modellers from Essex, Suffolk, Kent and Sussex with layouts including Rye station on the Rye and Camber Tramway, Holmeshurst (Rye themed), Etchu-Yamaha (Japanese themed), Cato Pass (sci-fi themed) and Ambleton Vale (set in rolling countryside somewhere in central England in the 1960s).

It will take place on Saturday, April 11, between 10am and 5pm at the Milligan Theatre, Rye College, The Grove, Rye, East Sussex, TN31 7NQ.
