Police are seeking witnesses to an incident in Harbour Road, Rye, at its junction with Tram Road on Thursday July 14 which led to the death of a cyclist.The cyclist, an 84-year-old Hastings man, collided with a kerb and fell. He sustained serious injuries and was taken to the Conquest Hospital, St Leonards-on-Sea. Sadly he died four days later. The incident occurred at around 10:45am. The coroner for East Sussex has been informed.Anyone who saw what happened or who may have other information is asked to email collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk or phone 101, quoting Operation Accrington.
