Following Rye Town Council’s recent acquisition of the freehold of the Ferry Road nursery an expansion of its facilities is planned to help more families in Rye with nursery care.
Rye’s Mayor, Councillor Jonathan Breeds, would like to invite you to a gala evening at the Mermaid Inn, Rye, on Saturday April 21 to help raise funds for this expansion.
With a fizz reception, and music from the international pianist Anne Marshall, you will be served a three-course meal from the Mermaid’s two rosette kitchen. This will be followed by a short auction hosted by the Rye Town Crier, with more music to end the evening.
This event is a starter for the community to be involved in helping raise funds for the extension, that can then be match funded by other sources.
Tickets, limited to 90 – including a glass of fizz on arrival, three-course meal, a half-bottle of wine and entertainment – are just £50 per person. To reserve your tickets please contact Councillor Rebekah Gilbert at info@vivawellbeing.com.
