St Mary’s Messy Church celebrated Harvest Festival last Friday October 7 when it met at St Mary’s Centre in Lion Street, writes Shelley Jebb. Families brought their harvest gifts which were put into a box decorated by everyone who attended. The box and contents were presented to Rye Food Bank representative Chris Emson. Pictured above (from left) are Revd Canon David Frost, Rector of Rye, Yvette Wentworth-Foster,who organised the box decorating, Chris Emson, and Revd Christopher Breeds as well as children who attend Messy Church.
