Jempson’s will be hosting a Charity Boot Fair in the Peasmarsh store car park on Bank Holiday Monday August 31 and all money from the pitch sales will be donated to Rye & District Community Transport and Rye Day Centre.
Vendors are requested to set up prior to customers arriving, and gates open at 5:30am with hard-standing pitches from £8 on the day (which will be donated to charity). Pitches will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Gates for customers open at 7am and COVID-19 secure guidelines will be implemented to protect shoppers, traders and Jempson’s staff. Vendors and customers are asked to follow the government advice on social distancing and wearing a face covering as recommended.
Traders will be required to manage their queuing systems and serve customers safely. It is essential they follow Public Health advice and must provide their own sanitising products for customers and individual stalls.
