Man collapses in heatwave

A man in his 60s collapsed on a footpath off Rye Hill on Wednesday July 20 at around 4pm, writes Kenneth Bird. The South East Coast ambulance service attended and he was resuscitated but still in a life threatening condition. He was conveyed by air ambulance to the William Harvey hospital at Ashford.
