The Neighbourhood Plan Steering Committee under the vice-chairmanship of Anthony Kimber (the nominal chairman is the Mayor) have worked hard on this for several years and the approval of the plan by a very large majority would seem to be a just reward for their efforts and this will now form the basis of the future development of the town.
By approving it, Ryers now have a real say in what happens around our ancient town in the future.

Well done to Anthony Kimber and team. Such a lot of hard work has gone into the Plan. Now we need to make sure that local amenities and green spaces are protected for everyone to enjoy.
It has been a long time coming but at last it is in place. Many thanks to all those involved especially Anthony Kimber without whose dedication and hard work this would not of happened.
