East Sussex County Council (ESCC) is about to review parking in Rother.
The first stage of the review is to consider and assess all requests that have been submitted.
If you live or work in Rye, ESCC want to know what you think. The closing date for submissions is Thursday, September 30, 2021, and more details can be found here: https://new.eastsussex.gov.uk/parking/parking-reviews/current-reviews/rother
Rother District Council (RDC) also currently have a review of their public space protection order (PSPO). RDC need Rye residents and visitors to take part in this consultation, so if you want your say on rough sleeping, aggressive begging, swearing or shouting in public, drones, or nuisance behaviour, now is the time. The consultation period ends on Tuesday, October 19, 2021.
A PSPO is a tool that helps Sussex Police and RDC staff to issue on-the-spot fines of £100 for anti-social behaviour that is listed in the order.
