Many people will know now that Simply Italian is closing for a short period to regroup and come back stronger. The message they want to impart to their loyal customers is: WE WILL BE BACK.
We will miss them greatly as the welcome we received was always warm, always genuine and special.

Can’t believe Simply Italian is closing. Your article didn’t say when so is there time to visit or is it too late?
Over the years we have had many lovely times with Maurice and his team, always friendly, great for families and special occasions and nice and warm in the winter. I remember going there a few years back after being ill and out of action for a bit and they were so warm and welcoming I forgot my aches and pains.
I do hope this will not be final or this will be another great loss for Rye.

Ah that is a great shame and a temporary loss to Rye! Wishing the team all the best for the future and looking forward to when you can reopen and we can enjoy that lovely friendly welcome, atmosphere and food again!
