Rye 1st XI  206 – 2
St Peter’s 1st XI 204 – 7
Rye hosted St Peter’s, in a match sponsored by My Sweet Old Etcetera, with Rye looking to continue their unbeaten run in the season to 11.
Rye skipper Harry Smeed won the toss on a damp looking wicket caused by the rain on Friday.
Rye for the first time this season struggled to pick up early wickets and St.Peter’s got off to a good start due to batting very patiently.
Captain Harry Smeed brought himself into the attack and he struck immediately to leave St Peter’s 52-1. Michael Dawes (67) batted well and was aided by some poor fielding from Rye as he was dropped on two occasions. Harry Smeed settled in for a long spell and bowled with pin point accuracy to claim outstanding figures of 7-63 off 21 overs with the batsmen struggling to get going. A late partnership took St. Peter’s to 204-7 and Rye felt that with a good start with the bat they could claim yet another victory.
Joint Rye Concepts Men of the match James Hamilton (79) and Tom Williams (61) put on an outstanding opening partnership of 145 and took any chance that St Peter’s had of winning the game away from them. They both lost their wicket in quick succession but George Wathen (31*) and Harry Smeed (27*) took Rye home to win by 8 wickets and kept their unbeaten run going, extending their lead at the top of the table to 31 points.
Rye 2nd XI  93
Willingdon 1st XI  95 – 1
After winning the toss and choosing to bat first, Rye made a quick start against Willingdon 1st XI, reaching 20 without loss. But with both openers going in quick succession, Rye started to stumble and lost wickets freely. On a wicket of low bounce and no pace the young batsmen could only seem to mistime their shots, as 8 of them found the safe hands of the Willingdon fielders. Rye were bowled out for 93.
After tea Rye set out in trying to pull off the unthinkable. With some tight bowling from both opening bowlers, Craig Pierce and Spencer Sharkey, but with no success, skipper Hatter turned to the spin of Jake Bryant (1-26) who made the breakthrough. But it just wasn’t enough with Willingdon passing the 93 run target
Rye 3rd XI  266 – 5
Westfield 2nd XI  108
Rye third team hosted Westfield seconds in their latest league fixture and on losing the toss were asked to bat first.
Rye got off to an excellent start with an opening partnership of 94 before Paul Payton was caught and bowled Karim Nanji (1-49) having scored 31. Freddie Maxkenzie then joined opener Rowan Sharkey and in a second wicket partnership of 69 increased the run rate before Mackenzie (27) was bowled by the returning Stewart Fellows (1-65). Ross Pierce scored 33 before being caught off the bowling of opening bowler Henry Legg (1-41), Rory Hunt (2-57) then claimed two quick wickets for Westfield. This brought Jack Keen to the crease, who looked to make the most of the last few allotted overs scoring 29 not out. Sharkey made a well-constructed 103 not out for his maiden century as Rye finished on 266-5.
After tea Rye made early inroads to the Westfield batting line up, as George Channon claimed figures of 3-27 from 6 overs including the wicket of Henry Legg (21). Callum Haddaway also claimed two quick wickets which included a very sharp catch at slip from Payton, and finished with figures of 2-21 from 5 overs. David Legg provided resistance scoring 14 before being trapped LBW by Rae Arcadia who then claimed a wicket with his next ball and went on to finish with figures of 2-3. Charlie Fellow was the only other batsmen to reach double figures, scoring 19 before being the last wicket of the innings to fall to Sharkey (1-3).  Mackenzie (1-30) and Keen (1-9) were the other Rye wicket takers as Westfield were dismissed for 108 in 25 overs.
