Rye Cricket Club is busy preparing for the 2020 Season, after a successful 2019 Season.
Recruitment is underway for an Overseas Player, whose role is not only to play on Saturdays, but provide coaching for all of Rye Junior Teams. The club is seeking accommodation for the Overseas Player. It would be great if there is somebody in Rye who might be a host, or has accommodation that requires looking after over the Summer months, May to August. Financial arrangements available. Coaching has started on Thursday evenings 5pm to 7pm at Rye Sports Centre. 5pm to 6pm is for 9-11 year olds trying hard ball for the first time, and 6pm to 7pm is for 10-13 year olds. If your son/daughter would like to be involved please contact Martin Blincow.
The Club has a Bonfire Party planned for November 9. The Sidney Allnutt Pavilion offers a great view of the bonfire celebrations.
