Trying to find something to do has been a challenge for all of us during lockdown but, with the situation easing and the lockdown rules relaxing more, now maybe it’s time to look further afield for a bit of old fashioned family fun?
For those of us who can, it’s now a great opportunity to tear ourselves away from the TV and the comfort of the sofa, time to grab some fresh air and head further down the coast to Hastings and try your hand at Adventure Golf followed by good old fashioned takeaway fish and chips and perhaps an ice-cream too – why not, you deserve a treat!
That’s right, Hastings Adventure Golf is back open! Following direct guidance from the government in relation to outdoor crazy golf courses there has been a lot of time and effort spent during the past few weeks preparing the site, ready for all to enjoy, safely.
With the appropriate risk assessments and social distancing measures in place they are now ready to go. The operating hours will be a little shorter, currently 10am-5pm for the first couple of weeks, but will be reviewed when appropriate. Visitors should note the council are yet to open the public toilets so there are no toilet facilities available near the site at present.
Fun is what we all need at the moment and at Hastings Adventure Golf a fun family day is guaranteed, loved by everyone aged 3 to 103! They are well regarded in the area and are serial winners of Trip Advisor’s Certificate of Excellence.
Hastings Adventure Golf boasts three imaginatively designed 18-hole courses – Pirate, Adventure and Crazy – packed full of surprises to include landscaped gardens, seven waterfalls, 37 fountains, caves, windmills, mountains, two large pirate ships, cannon fire, explosions, splashes and, let’s not forget, talking tikki poles and grumbling stone heads!
Hasting Adventure Golf, home of the World Crazy Golf Championships, is located on the seafront at Pelham Place. There is plenty of parking adjacent to the complex and the team are ready and eager to welcome visitors of all ages.
