Icklesham Casuals 2nd team made it back-to-back victories last Saturday with a 3-0 win away to Northiam 75 seconds.
In very blustery conditions the team began well and took the lead early on when Adam Knight converted from the penalty spot. It was Knight who doubled the lead later in the half when he was successful with another penalty.
Both sides were disappointingly but correctly reduced to 10 men and Knight then struck an excellent 25-yard effort to complete his hat-trick. The win consolidates the team’s mid-table position.
The 1st team fixture was cancelled as opponents Mayfield were unable to field a side. The awarding of the points for the match means the team remain top of Division Two.
This Saturday sees the 1st team at home to Hollington United II while the 2nd team take on Division Five leaders Sedlescombe Rangers III.
