What perfect weather for this year’s Great Northiam Run! Runners came from a wide geographic area to enjoy our country lanes, and we saw both the men’s and ladies’ records broken. Particularly impressive were some people who had taken up the couch to 5k challenge over the last couple of years, and now were able to participate in this admittedly hilly run.
As usual, we were impressed by the camaraderie and generosity of the runners, and we were delighted to have Gerald Balp, from our main sponsor, local firm Lankelma, award the prizes. Hastings Athletic Club supplied both overall winners – Rhys Boorman and Jenna Levett. Hastings Athletic also took the men’s team award, with Hastings Runners securing the women’s trophy.
