Rye Harbour Sailing Club’s first race for 2020 – the Rum Race, for those intrepid dinghy sailors who were prepared to brave the January temperatures, took place last Sunday, January 12.
13 boats started the race under blue skies but with a stiff breeze which provided more than a challenge for some.
The final winner was Scott Wilkinson, who was able to add this to his long list of victories.
