This Saturday, August 19, from 10:30am, Elm Tree Farm on Icklesham’s outskirts on the Rye side will be buzzing again with the annual Rye and District Country Show in aid of St Michael’s Hospice.

And the menu includes a horse show, a dog show, vintage tractors, classic cars and an open air country fair along with refreshments and drinks, entry is free for children, but £5 for adults.

Ryebellion drummers will be there and there are often “extras” not publicised until the day. The weather forecast for the day is good with no rain and highs of 22° Celsius.

And, if you get bored you can pop back to Rye Community Centre on Saturday for the Rye Flower and Veg Show indoors from 2pm.
