The annual Rye town meeting will take place on Thursday, March 6 at Tilling Green Community Centre.
The event is organised by Rye Town Council who have discussed ideas to make the meeting less formal and more interactive than in previous years. The evening will start at 6:30pm with an opportunity to talk to councillors and staff, along with representatives from the town steward service, Rye Recreation & Wellbeing CIO, Rye Neighbourhood Plan and Rye Heritage Centre.
At 7:30pm there will be a shortened mayor’s overview followed by questions from the public.
Rye Town Council says an agenda will be published on the council’s website and social media in advance of the meeting.
