Rye, Winchelsea & District Memorial Hospital needs you! We are looking for local people to boost our band of volunteers. There are various jobs that we need your help with. These include people like gardeners or “Here to Help” volunteers who visit people in their own homes following their discharge from the hospital or on personal request. We also need receptionists to help on the front desk as people come into the building, or people to support our 19 bedded intermediate care ward and help at our fundraising events. The hours are to suit you, so you can work within school hours or around other commitments. With all of us having to work probably into our Seventies I am not surprised there is a shortage of able Volunteers.
