The Ypres Castle Inn’s garden in Rye, tucked away behind the castle, has been listed by Time Out this week as one of the top five beer gardens with a view – the other four being in the Lake District, Oxford, Stockbridge and in Whitstable – The Old Neptune overlooking the sea.
And the view, see photo above, is of boats, the Marsh, the Rother and Camber Sands in the distance and the article links to a previous one on “17 things to do in Rye” which includes the CAMRA awarded micro-pub the Waterworks, St Mary’s Norman church, the nature reserve at Rye Harbour, the town’s many quirky shops, and, again, Camber Sands.
So don’t be surprised to find more visitors visiting!
