World’s biggest coffee morning

ARRCC Elders’ staff and members based at Magdala House in Rye raised £142 for Macmillan at a charity coffee morning. Many Magdala House residents also attended, and visitors from Aaron Manor in Bexhill made the trip over to Rye.

Alyson, the ARRCC Elders’ cook baked lots of delicious cakes which were very quickly sold. Sophie Judge came along and sold cakes in memory of her grandfather Ray Wood, who was a much-loved and greatly missed volunteer at ARRCC. Richard Stoodley provided the musical entertainment, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
