Sirs,
I have just been reading some of the excellent articles you have published recently, this online newspaper has become a valuable local resource.
In the interests of accuracy I should like to make comment on an article dated March 17 about Jempson’s introduction of a COOK super concession. The article states that COOK is a local company, I believe this to be slightly misleading. According to COOK’s own website, the company’s kitchens are in Sittingbourne – not much more local than London! In their own words they are a national company with a national chain of shops and franchises. I make no comment for or against their products or the company but would merely like to bring to the attention of consumers the status of the company as I feel Jempson’s may be claiming the local status as a marketing ploy.
Yours
Simon Parsons
