The recent spike in Covid cases has caused disruption to many businesses because of staff infection. Supply chains and services have been impacted. While most hope for things to return to normal, it is not yet business as normal.
In Rye, we have been calling for continued tests for volunteers at the vaccination centre. We have some test kits from pharmacy sources but we would like formal NHS supplies.
Organisations such as the British Chambers of Commerce are calling for all companies to be given free or cheap lateral flow tests.
We will continue to press for continued testing.
