The general election and business

Rye Chamber wants to ensure our business community can consider how our potential next MP will support business in this area. We have researched the business priorities that our national business networks have identified as critical for the next government.

Using those recommended business policy reforms as our guide, we’ve extrapolated those which are most pertinent to Rye’s very specific business issues and have drafted a set of ten questions which our members have approved. The questions will be issued to each of our parliamentary candidates for their response.

The Chamber will publish the responses from our parliamentary candidates on Friday June 21.

The policy recommendations for each of the major national business networks is summarised here, along with links to their full manifestos.
