The Rye Community Food and Wildlife Garden (RCG) committee has been working on amending the garden’s constitution and is proposing the new version is voted on by members at the upcoming AGM at noon on Saturday, April 5 2025 at the garden (at the end of Love Lane).
As part of our current constitution we are required to make our community aware of the proposed changes to our constitution and share the proposed new wording. You may read our proposed new constitution here: RCG New Constitution. A copy of our previous constitution is available here for comparison: RCG Old Constitution.
If you have any comments or questions in regards to the new constitution please contact us at: ryecommunitygarden@gmail.com.
We also wish to take this opportunity to invite anyone who might be interested in getting involved in the garden or becoming a trustee, to contact us via email at ryecommunitygarden@gmail.com or to simply join us at the AGM.
Anyone is welcome to attend our AGM as we will be celebrating what we have achieved, planning our priorities for the upcoming year, and sharing some food and refreshments.
Also we would like you to complete this survey about how the garden can best support the community: Rye Community Garden Survey – March 2025.

We meet every Saturday morning for our regular drop-in session from 10am to noon, where all are welcome to come and take in the peaceful atmosphere of the garden, enjoy a cup of tea, have a little chat or get stuck in with gardening and growing food!
Come and see us any Saturday morning between 10am and noon at the end of Love Lane – no gardening experience needed!
AGM date and time: Saturday, April 5 noon – 3pm, at the Rye Community Garden at the end of Love Lane with nibbles and refreshments.
