Lesley Farrow of Niche and Jane Conlin are celebrating organising their 10th fashion show together which will be held on Wednesday, April 10 at the town hall by kind permission of the mayor, Andi Rivett.
“We have raised in the region of £13,000 over the ten years,” said Jane. “This has always been split between the Rye and Winchelsea District Memorial Hospital and the Rye community bus. This year Rye Foodbank and the community bus will benefit.
“Niche has always supplied the glorious clothes for the models to wear and the mayor at the time has always given us the town hall free of charge. It is the perfect environment to hold the show. Reg Marchant has always supplied the equipment and music for the shows. It would be wonderful if he would sing at this one. Four models take part in the show… this year I will be making my final catwalk. I have modelled in them all, but it is time for my last appearance. The tickets are £10. It begins at 7 pm and doors open at 6:30 pm. A glass of bubbly is given on arrival.”
