A slippery subject

In better weather and in better times it is surprising how many people use the pavement and cycle path along Rye Harbour road but, until now, access has been made more difficult as the trees, brambles and foliage have themselves made the most of the fantastic summer weather and grown and spread faster than it seemed in previous years.

Bexhill Tree Surgeons, making a big difference along Rye Harbour road

The pavement and cycle path is wide and easily caters for pedestrians and cyclists sharing their respective halves but, having become very overgrown recently, access until now has not always been easy.

Bexhill Tree Surgeons were on the spot on Tuesday, November 10, and a team were cutting back trees and undergrowth, leaf blowers were clearing the wet and slippery leaves, and the whole operation was very much underway. With many of us using our enforced extra leisure time to walk around and enjoy the local scenery their timing could not have been better planned.
