Christmas Comes Early is the name of the new shop that opened on November 5 at 35 Cinque Ports Street. As the name suggests, Christmas is very much on the menu at this establishment. The interior has been wonderfully decorated in a log cabin style and with the huge candle display giving off the most amazing aromas, just visiting this shop is an experience, in itself.
The owner, Nina Mahaffey has worked tirelessly over the summer months with the help of many excellent Rye craftsmen to create this special place and help people enjoy this festive time. It offers a wide selection of everything Christmassy, from trees, baubles and lights to illuminated bears, penguins and snowmen but the 7ft tall nutcracker soldier is the star of the show.
Christmas Comes Early will be open seven days a week until Christmas Eve. In the New Year, while still retaining its Christmas theme, the shop hopes to be able to offer Rye a destination for exotic and lovely presents, whether you are buying for others or treating yourself!
