On Saturday, March 26 from 7:30pm to 11:30pm there will be a charity disco in Rye at St Mary’s Centre, next to the Kino cinema. Tickets are £10, with proceeds going to charity DKMS.
The event is being organised to celebrate the life of Rye resident Clare Cosson, and raise money for DKMS who helped her. Clare organised hugely successful discos in Rye under the title “Follow The Call Of The Disco Ball” just for the fun and love of it which you may have seen in Rye News, and we say to her “thank you for the memories”.
You can book your ticket from this link. The money raised from the ticket sales will cover the limited production costs for the disco, with the remaining balance donated to the DKMS Foundation.
The vision of DKMS is to fight blood cancer. That’s why they are constantly working to convince as many people as possible to join the blood stem cell register as a donor. If you’re unable to make the disco, please sign up to DKMS and continue to spread the word and encourage family and friends to sign up too. You can register here.
So pop pickers, get dressed up to your disco nines and join the fun, let’s make it a night to remember, and a night to remember Clare.
