Great Dixter House and Gardens at Northiam will be opening its doors, the Great Barn, outbuildings, nursery and shop for this year’s Christmas Fair, to be held over the weekend of November 25 and 26, from 10am to 4pm each day. The entrance fee is £5, under 16s enter free.
Parts of the house not usually open to the public are used for the fair, giving an opportunity to see both the original medieval buildings and part of the arts and crafts house designed between 1920 and 1912 by Sir Edwin Lutyens. The gardens are open and there will be stall holders in the Great Barn and some of the outbuildings, Great Dixter shop and nursery are open, too. Refreshments will be available.
