This is a picture of the Freedom Leisure car park at 1pm on Sunday, August 29, so what I hear you ask?
Bearing in mind this was the August bank holiday weekend, the town was heaving, the jazz festival had returned to Rye and the many visitors, having arrived in Rye to stay the weekend had possibly come here by public transport, but more than likely had driven here and then had to find somewhere to park.
Why was it that this was one of the only car parks in town without any cars in it when all the others were full? Is it too far for people to walk to town, are the parking charges putting people off or is there another reason? Answers on a postcard please.
