Fancy a cuppa?

The end of the school holidays and / or the Easter break may be a time to celebrate for some – but any excuse can be found for a cuppa and a cake.

And next Wednesday, April 24, the excuse is St Michael’s Hospice as they are holding the “Big Tea” to raise funds and you might be able to help out. For further details visit their website.

The idea is simple. Tea hosts are encouraged to invite friends, family, neighbours, work colleagues and whoever to a venue of your choice to enjoy a cuppa, cake, good company (and even some entertainment) and collect donations to the hospice.

Tea might include small games or competitions (or whatever takes your fancy) and be at home, school, a playgroup, work or wherever you decide – with the underlying theme of helping your local hospice.
