Christmas Day deliveries are back. A wonderful Rye Christmas tradition returns this year. The community fire station will be delivering your Christmas presents on Christmas morning.
Bring your wrapped presents to the fire station on Christmas Eve between 9am and 3pm and they will do the rest. This is done in the memory of Paul Williams.
The cost is just £3 a parcel, with all monies going to the Fire Fighters Charity.

I know that up to 1972, the Rye Bonfire Society did this , and it was so enjoyable …. Anyway, Merrry Christmas from New Zealand.
Yes I have fond memories of being father Christmas one year, when I was a member of the bonfire society, and glad to see this tradition carrying on.
Brilliant. My kids loved this when we were in the High St. I seem to recall Santa was easily tempted by a festive snifter – even whilst on duty! Merry Christmas!
