Book now because spaces are limited and some are already fully booked. These activities are a wonderful way to encourage youngsters to engage with nature whilst learning so much. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the feed-back from children and parents after these events is always glowing.

Wildlife Watch Events Rye Harbour

Monday February 12 – 10.30am – 2.30pm
Microscope Monday – FREE event
Take a closer look at some of our special wildlife using microscopes, magnifiers and binoculars. Suitable for all ages – no booking necessary.

Tuesday February 13, 10am – 12pm
Wild Weather Family Walk – £2 per child
Experience the sights and sounds of the nature reserve on a winter’s day. Suitable for accompanied children able to walk about 2 miles. Book  here

Wednesday February 14, 10am – 12p m
Crab’s Kingdom – £2 per child
Explore the saltmarsh and shore for crabs and other marine creatures. Suitable for accompanied children of all ages. Book here:

Wednesday February 14, 1pm – 3pm
Let’s go fly a kite – £2 per child
An afternoon of family fun, learning how to make and fly a kite. Suitable for accompanied children aged 6 -12 years old. Book here

Half term activities

Thursday February 15, 10am – 12.30pm
Wildlife Weaving – £3.50 per child
Learn how to weave a simple bird feeder, bird nesting basket and wild animal shape to take home. Suitable for accompanied 5 -12 years old. Book here.

Friday February 16, 10am – 12pm
Wild Beach Fun – £2 per child
Family fun and games on the beach, including a strandline scavenger hunt, tallest tower competition, pebble picture creations and more. Suitable for accompanied children of all ages. Book here
